FALL into Trunk Shows
Fall is approaching and it's time to update with new handmade accessories! What better way to to so than with Mary Garrett Handmade Jewelry. We have taken our signature pieces as well as new designs and mixed in warmer tones for our Fall 2019 collection. New materials include matte Thai pendants and beaded chains, black and olive suede, oxidized brass, white lace agate, and our forever favorite, labradorite. To showcase our new collections every season, we paired up with some of our favorite retailers to host Mary Garrett Trunk shows and it has proven to be a great success.
One of our first trunk shows was hosted by Andrea and Michael with Raw Furniture Co. in Tupelo, Mississippi. We met this duo at the home and gift market in Atlanta. We love working with these guys, as we both have a strong desire to sell a handmade product made in the USA. They typically coordinate a Mary Garrett Jewelry trunk show in with another event they are hosting, such as holiday open house. We think this is a great approach to draw in a large crowd!
Another one of our trunk show favorites is collaborating with our friends at The White Rabbit in St. Louis, Missouri. Their shop has an array of vintage inspired home decor and antiques, as well as handmade gifts and jewelry. I haven't made it to their shop yet, but when I do I feel certain to find a unique piece for every room in my home. This mom and daughter combo hosted a lovely Girls Night Out trunk show with wine and hors d'oeuvres, what fun!
Also on our annual trunk show schedule is Apropos in Montgomery, Alabama. I have had the pleasure of working with owner Terry Owens for several years now. Her charming accent and southern style are sure to put smile on your face-and her shop is no different! Apropos features the latest and greatest in women's fashion, handmade gifts and jewelry. We look forward to our next event with these ladies in September.
